Can Type 2 Diabetes Be Reversed and Cured?

First of all, what is really meant by "reversed"? And, how can you determine if your diabetes has been reversed?

Since diabetes is more than a “blood sugar” problem, you must get other blood test parameters back into their normal ranges to even consider that you are in the process of reversing your diabetes.

And, although blood glucose control is a key strategy, there is more to getting your diabetes “under control” before you can begin thinking about “beating” or “reversing” your diabetes!

You must get other key blood test parameters under control, including blood pressure, cholesterol, insulin levels, body composition, inflammation markers, and other hormonal levels.

If you don’t get these areas under control, it will not be possible to slow down the progression of your diabetes let alone reverse your diabetes.

Any wellness program that promises to “magically” reverse your diabetes without a measured, structured and systematic strategy will leave you disappointed, angry and frustrated.

For more information about reversing your diabetes and actually measuring it, read Chapters 14 and 15 of the Death to Diabetes book, especially the sections that discuss Stage 5 and Stage 6 of the wellness program, and the key blood test and hormone measurements.

Can Type 2 Diabetes Be Cured?
Having Type 2 diabetes is like your body being in a terrible car accident that damages your liver, kidneys, blood vessels, and other vital organs. You can help your body repair the damage, but that doesn't take away the fact that you were in a terrible car accident. So, you can recover from the damage caused by the car accident, but it doesn't fully eliminate the fact that you were in a car accidient and that you must be careful in the future not to be another accident.

As a result, you must continue to feed and nourish your body to ensure that it doesn't break down in the future.

Being completely cured implies that you can return to your previous wreckless habits, and not feel the effects. But, that's just not the case with diabetes, or any chronic deteriorating disease for that matter.

The bottom line here is that you must continue to eat healthy to stay healthy. However, you can enjoy some of those comfort foods every once in a while without causing any major damage.

Can Type 2 Diabetes Be Reversed and Cured?
There are many programs out there claiming to "beat", "reverse" or "cure" diabetes. But, they do not explain what they really mean by those terms. Read this section of the Death to Diabetes website to understand these terms to better understand what these programs can really deliver.
Key Point: Diabetes is more than a “blood sugar” problem.
Note: Any wellness program that promises to “magically” reverse your diabetes without a measured, structured and systematic strategy will leave you disappointed, angry and frustrated.

Cure for Diabetes?

Message from the Author of "Death to Diabetes":
“There are many programs out there claiming to have a cure for Type 2 diabetes and being able to (somehow) reverse the disease. I cannot promise you that my wellness program will reverse your diabetes. But, I can promise you that if you implement the strategies identified in the 10 steps, you will get healthier. How healthy you get is dependent upon many factors, including how long you’ve been diabetic, how much damage has been done by the disease and the drugs, your age, how many other drugs you’re taking, and your access to healthy foods and nutrients.

As I state on my website and in my book: “I do not consider my wellness program to be an official cure for Type 2 diabetes. Why? Because as an engineer, I do not believe in anecdotal data. I believe in the data from independent, qualified test labs and similar resources. I believe that a series of double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies need to be performed to properly validate (or discredit) my diabetes wellness program. Hopefully, there is a company that would be interested in pursuing this endeavor for the betterment of our country and the world.

In addition, I do not believe that everyone will be able to completely reverse their Type 2 diabetes. If you're looking for "the magic bullet", then, this is not the program for you. However, I do believe that everyone can slow down the progression of the disease and get healthier and avoid the insulin addiction trap -- if they adhere to my program's wellness protocol on a consistent basis.”
